According to intelligence reports, Hamas continues to recruit fighters, rebuild its military capabilities, and rearm, reinforcing Israel’s stance on maintaining a military presence until disarmament is achieved.
The US-brokered ceasefire framework suggests a series of steps, including Hamas surrendering its weapons, dismantling its tunnel network, and a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces. It also proposes the establishment of a Palestinian technocratic administration, the deployment of an international security force, and the reconstruction of Gaza.
